The Office of Marketing & Communications (MarComm) is an entity set up to look into the branding exercise of UPM. Its objective is to build a favourable image of UPM in the minds of the public that is different from competitors or other institutions.
Although UPM is well-known in Malaysia as a public university, the fact that we are surrounded by an increasingly competitive higher education market requires UPM to continuously strengthen its brand message and create differentiation from its competitors.
The Office of Marketing & Communications is made up of two sections, Promotions and Marketing and Corporate Communications, and is headed by a Director.
